Job summary

Advanced Exhaust Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specialized in Automation and Robotics to design, implement, and optimize automated manufacturing systems. You will work with production, engineering, quality, maintenance, and suppliers to integrate robotics and controls, ensuring safe and repeatable production processes.

The role requires hands-on robotics programming, PLC/HMI troubleshooting, and strong problem-solving skills, with experience in CAD and ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience with automation or robotics.
Hands-on experience with industrial robot programming, PLC/HMI troubleshooting, sensors, and electrical or pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement automated manufacturing methods and robot programs.
Maintain robot and controls program backups, equipment documentation, and revision records.
Design or modify tooling, fixtures, sensors, and equipment for automation.
Analyze cycle times and equipment performance to identify improvements.
Train personnel on equipment operation and updated processes.
Support Lean manufacturing and 5S in automated areas.
Collaborate with product development teams and integrators on feasibility and manufacturability.
