Job summary
ManpowerGroup is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Automation Technician in Chaska, MN, to support highly automated production equipment and facility systems. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve automation, robotics, controls, and electrical maintenance to boost reliability.
The role focuses on diagnosing complex problems, reading schematics, and supporting PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, and automation equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting automation and manufacturing equipment.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, sensors, servo motors, and industrial controls.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair automated production equipment and facility systems.
- Serve as a primary resource for controls, automation, robotics, and electrical maintenance issues.
- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Support PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, sensors, and vision systems.
- Diagnose network communication issues between production equipment and connected systems.
- Complete work orders and CMMS updates accurately and timely.
