Job summary

Hutchinson is seeking a maintenance technician to support advanced automation and equipment in a dynamic shop. You will join a collaborative team, perform PMs, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems across multiple lines, including robots and EOAT.

You will leverage PLCs, HMIs, and vision systems while entering data into CMMS. The role requires independent work, strong problem solving, and adherence to safety standards; overtime may be necessary, and growth opportunities exist

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; technical certification or journeyman preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC and robotic systems including programming and troubleshooting.
• Ability to navigate CMMS and connect to PLC/HMI/vision equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete equipment PMs as scheduled by CMMS.
• Repair and troubleshoot injection press, cementing/coating, and robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI and vision configurations; basic PLC development.
• Program robot positions and I/O; teach robot programs.
• Plan refurbishments and rebuilds; enter work activity into CMMS.
• Maintain 5S in shop; overtime as required; follow HSE policies.
