Job summary

CTIS, Inc. seeks an Automation Software Tester / QA Engineer to support Clinical Trials Research Management apps. You will design, execute, and maintain automated test solutions within an Agile DevOps environment for web and mobile platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in software testing, 2+ in automation, and expertise with Selenium, Java, TestNG, Cucumber, REST Assured, Jira/Xray. AWS/cloud testing and ATDD familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience, including automation.
• 2+ years hands-on automation testing experience.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Java, TestNG, Cucumber, Gherkin, Jira, Xray.
• Strong cross-browser and mobile platform testing experience.
• Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Bamboo and Bitbucket.
• Experience with REST/SOAP/GraphQL API testing and AWS testing.
• Knowledge of ATDD and accessibility testing (Section 508).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases and test scripts.
• Create scalable automation frameworks to support web, mobile, and API testing.
• Validate REST and SOAP services, including auth, contracts, and performance.
• Integrate UI and API automation into CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Perform cross-browser, cross-device, accessibility, and backend validation testing.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, cloud engineers, and QA to improve quality.
• Identify defects and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.
