Leeds Professional Resources seeks an Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing for a web-based platform migration. The role focuses on UI, backend services, and APIs, with data-validation tooling to ensure accuracy during the migration of an acquired product line.

You will help move the team from manual to scalable automation, aligning with migration risk and CI/CD practices. This is a ~10-month contract in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional experience in test automation.
• Experience with production web applications, integrations or data migrations preferred.
• Strong skills in SQL for data comparisons and integrity checks.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and defect management.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain automated regression tests for web apps, services, and APIs.
• Create tests for new functionality to support customer migration to the target platform.
• Develop data-validation tools comparing legacy and target systems.
• Build end-to-end automated test scenarios covering device enrollment, updates, events, alerts, and reporting.
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines with accessible results.
• Automate test-data generation and environment setup for repeatable runs.
• Investigate failures and coordinate defect resolution with teams.
• Partner with QA to shape automation strategy based on migration risk.
• Prepare technical docs, testing procedures, and coverage reports.
