Job summary

JetSoftPro is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design and implement scalable test automation for an AI-first product company. You will build UI and API tests with Playwright, author reliable regression suites, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to accelerate delivery.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted testing, data accuracy checks, and accelerating CI/CD validation across modern web applications.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of QA Automation experience.
  • Strong experience with Playwright.
  • Experience testing modern web applications.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and API testing.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Playwright.
  • Create reliable end-to-end regression and smoke test suites.
  • Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release validation.
  • Analyze failures and identify root causes of issues.
  • Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and execution speed.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Review requirements and identify test scenarios early in development.
  • Validate AI-powered product functionality, including complex UI workflows and data accuracy.
  • Contribute to test strategy and quality engineering best practices.

Project Overview:

You will join an innovative AI-first product company developing cutting-edge computer vision solutions for property inspections and insurance claims. The engineering team delivers features at a very high pace using AI-assisted software development, making automation testing a critical part of the SDLC.

We’re looking for a proactive Automation QA Engineer who enjoys building scalable test automation, improving quality processes, and leveraging AI tools to maximize productivity.

Customer Overview:

Our client is a US-based AI company headquartered in San Diego that develops computer vision and AI-powered solutions for the moving and property insurance industries. Their platform analyzes smartphone photos and videos to automatically generate 3D models, property inventories, floor plans, measurements, and damage assessments, helping insurance companies and moving providers automate inspections and claims. The company builds much of its AI stack in-house, including computer vision, deep learning, and AI-powered automation.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test suites usingPlaywright.

Expected experience includes:
  • Daily use of AI coding assistants such asClaude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
  • Generating Playwright test cases with AI.
  • Creating page objects and test data using AI.
  • AI-assisted debugging and root cause analysis.
  • Test scenario generation from requirements.
  • Log analysis using AI.
  • Refactoring and optimizing automation frameworks with AI.
  • Using AI to reduce repetitive manual work while maintaining high quality standards.

We are looking for engineers who embrace AI as part of their everyday workflow rather than treating it as an experimental tool.
