Job summary

ASM Research is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to participate in QA activities, develop automated test scripts in Java, and drive test automation across Web front end and microservices. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and shared services to validate requirements using CI/CD pipelines and modern frameworks like Serenity and Cucumber.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on automated test coding in Java (or development in C++/C#).
• Experience with CI/CD, Cucumber, and BDD.
• Experience with functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and SQL.
• Hands-on with open source test frameworks (Serenity, Selenium, Cucumber).
• Experience with Java tools (Eclipse, JUnit, Git).
• Experience with front-end development including JavaScript frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Participates in QA activities including test case, requirements and design reviews.
• Executes test events (test plan, test scripts, schedule management, test report).
• Documents and debriefs team on test results.
• Develops automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements.
• Collaborates with developers, shared services, and product managers to define automated testing components.
• Drives test automation techniques and CI integration.
• Develops in Java; executes automated tests on Web Front end and microservices.
• Performs validations across DB, rules, logging, reporting, and UI.
