Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer in Phoenix to design and implement manual and automated test plans across enterprise web apps. You will extract user scenarios, create test cases, and drive regression testing to ensure high-quality releases.

The role emphasizes test automation opportunities, API testing, and collaboration with developers and product owners. Candidates should have 2+ years of UI/API/Backend testing experience and be comfortable with Microsoft technologies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with UI, API and Backend testing or IT-related degree.
• Experience in software development.
• Familiar with Microsoft Stack - Visual Studio, C#, Web API and Azure DevOps; able to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify new test automation opportunities and implement solutions within the software development lifecycle.
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical business processes.
• Read requirements and execute manual testing plans based on those requirements.
• Learn multiple diverse enterprise web apps.
• Communicate with users to understand real life usage, build test cases and unit tests.
• Organize and drive cross product testing.
• Utilize tools to test APIs and backend SQL Servers.
• Monitor product and/or feature-level quality health metrics – communicate issues.
• Work closely with developers, admins, and product owner to ensure their features are delivered to meet business and quality requirements.
• Assist with product releases and post-release testing.
