Job summary

Drawbridge is seeking a QA Engineer to join a small agile team in Boston or Palm Beach Gardens. This is an automation-first role where you’ll write tests for UI, APIs, data pipelines, and AI prompts, and help grow the test framework.

With 0–2 years in QA or software development, you’ll learn modern test automation practices, apply AI/LLM testing techniques, and collaborate with product and engineering to ship reliable software with strong data protection controls.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in QA or software development. Internships, bootcamps, open-source contributions, and personal projects count.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Familiarity with SQL, Git, and modern development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automated tests across UI, API, data pipelines, and AI prompts.
• Build eval sets for AI features and identify hallucinations, regressions, and inconsistent output.
• Test authentication, authorization, permissions, and data protection controls.
• Triage pipeline failures in Azure DevOps and write bug reports developers can act on.
• Work with developers and product through sprint planning, refinement, and release.
• Raise risks early rather than at the end.
• Run smoke, regression, and post-release checks.
