Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to drive the automation strategy for the Circuit platform. You will own end-to-end testing, API validation, and performance testing, building scalable test frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

You will leverage AI-assisted coding tools to enhance regression suites and ensure security and reliability across Cisco's production releases. This hybrid role offers visibility and impact across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related technical field with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience building and maintaining test automation and regression frameworks.
• Proficient with Playwright for E2E automation and Python/Pytest; Selenium familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain automated regression and E2E test suites for the Circuit platform using Playwright, Python/Pytest, and Selenium.
• Design and automate REST and GraphQL API test suites for correctness, error handling, and performance under load.
• Plan and execute performance/load tests (k6/JMeter) and track key metrics, including AI-specific ones.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to generate/maintain regression suites while ensuring security compliance.
