Job summary

Cypress HCM is hiring a Software QA/Automation Engineer in California to design, implement, and maintain automated test suites across desktop, web, and cloud applications. You will collaborate with engineering, product, design, and research to ensure high-quality product releases and optimal test coverage.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in software test automation, quality engineering, or software development.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Java, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.
• Proficiency using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test development and debugging.
• Familiarity with SDLC, testing methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and defect-tracking skills.
• Familiarity with performance, scalability, reliability, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience testing desktop, web, and/or cloud-based applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Optional: Experience testing AI/ML-powered products or GenAI features.
