Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking an Automation QA Engineer. In this role, you will develop and maintain automated test frameworks to validate new product features and assist in migration projects. $55.00/hr – $65.00/hr

Automation QA Engineer

Location: Westlake, TX or Merrimack, NH (5 days Onsite/Remote every other week)

Duration: Long-term Contract (with ongoing support post‑migration)

Day‑to‑Day / Project Summary

As part of the modernization and migration project, you will develop and maintain automated test frameworks to validate new product features and migration clients on the new client platform. Responsibilities include creating test scripts, executing automated tests, collaborating with developers, and ensuring quality through continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

Must Haves

• Experience with Test Automation frameworks (TestNG, Cucumber/BDD)
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, MyBatis, JSON, and REST API testing
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with tools like RestAssured, Postman
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with Jenkins
• Understanding of Agile testing practices

Nice to Have (Plusses)

• Exposure to Cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Experience with internal automation frameworks
• Knowledge of performance testing tools
• Familiarity with migration or modernization projects

Responsibilities
