Job summary

Signode in the United States is seeking a manager of Automatic Equipment and Automation opportunities. This role oversees projects from lead to installation, supporting sales, engineering and production across PL2 level initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering, about 5 years in equipment manufacturing and automation, and strong CAD/CRM skills. You will develop layouts, coordinate surveys, and drive cross‑functional collaboration to deliver robust automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• 5 years in equipment manufacturing engineering and automation.
• Experience designing 2-D layouts and 3-D models.
• Strong electronics/pneumatics/hydraulics understanding.
• Experience with CRM and CAD tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide proposals, pricing and equipment layouts with drawings and schematics.
• Gather surveys detailing needed equipment for customer and production.
• Identify non-standard items and coordinate with Engineering/PM/Supply Chain.
• Offer automation expertise and coordinate with segment experts.
• Coordinate with departments to overcome hurdles during engineering and manufacturing.
• Document installation/performance issues and assist project team.
