ProSearch Recruiting Partners is hiring a Project Manager for a global robotics OEM in the Phoenix area. The role supports full-cycle execution of material handling automation projects, with mentorship from senior managers.

Responsibilities include managing timelines and resources, coordinating with customers and suppliers, and ensuring safety and quality in layouts and installation. Strong CAD skills and 3 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial material handling or automation project work
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency in E Plan, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project a must)
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing material handling automation projects from concept through completion.
• Support development of project layouts using AutoCAD with safety, quality and functionality in mind.
• Coordinate design and layout details with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
• Gather and analyze project data to guide engineering, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Troubleshoot issues during planning and installation phases.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to meet deadlines.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and coordinate technical needs.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation throughout the life cycle.
• Support vendor selection through competitive bids and quote reviews.
• Review project specifications, RFQs, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate installation schedules and monitor site progress and quality.
• Contribute to project closeout with final documentation, manuals, and deliverables.
