Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC in Plano, TX is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support automation and control system projects from execution through commissioning. You’ll collaborate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, software, and field teams to ensure timely, within-budget delivery and high-quality results in a fast-paced industrial setting.

You’ll coordinate schedules and resources, assist with plans and documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement across project execution,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned projects from execution through commissioning and closeout.
• Assist with development and maintenance of project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate project activities across engineering, procurement, fabrication, software, and field service teams.
• Track risks, issues, and change orders while ensuring documentation and resolution.
• Support installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities including readiness checklists and punch-list tracking.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and gate deliverables; maintain accurate records.
• Support estimation, forecasting, and project performance tracking.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams, customers, and trade partners.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Identify and elevate risks, scope changes, and schedule impacts early.
• Seek guidance from senior leadership while developing independent PM capabilities.
