Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. in Dallas, TX (Addison) seeks a Construction Project Manager to support the Business Unit Manager in achieving strategic objectives. The CPM will own the full lifecycle of automation projects, including safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.

You will lead project delivery, budgeting, client relations, and QA, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors. On-site assignments typically run 1–3 years.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of related experience in project management.
• Strong knowledge of BMS, EPMS, electrical engineering principles, practices and standards.
• PE license is not required, but is desirable for this position.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: manage projects that safely deliver engineering solutions on time and within budget.
• Budgeting & cost control: develop and administer project budgets, fiscal controls, and quality provisions; perform cost estimating and value engineering.
• Client & Stakeholder Representation: represent the firm with clients, consultants, contractors and public/private agencies; primary client contact at site.
• Business Development & Quality Assurance: participate in BD and QA activities as directed by the Business Unit Manager.
• Technical & Proposal Support: provide technical assistance in proposal development, presentations, reports, studies, and project delivery.
• Additional Duties: build trust with clients to deliver outstanding experiences and support repeat work.
