Job summary

Koops, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to plan and coordinate custom automation projects from design through installation in the United States.

You will work closely with engineering, customers, and project teams to keep projects moving, resolve complex challenges, and meet customer expectations. Ideal candidates enjoy variety, cutting-edge automation technology, and driving complex projects to successful results.

Qualifications

Four-year engineering degree or applicable work experience.
Experience with factory automation and/or manufacturing.
Familiarity with mechanical systems, sensors, robots, motion control, pneumatics, hydraulics, and/or vision systems.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with a team.
High level of integrity with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Experience with and knowledge of secondary packaging systems is preferred.
Willingness and ability to travel 10-15%.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and evaluate project activities from design through installation.
Lead project planning and provide direction and support to project teams.
Serve as a key customer contact throughout the project.
Lead teams in resolving complex technical and project challenges.
Coordinate solutions across mechanical, electrical, controls, and other disciplines.
Manage project priorities, timelines, and customer expectations.
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to keep projects moving.
Travel 10-15% to support customers and project installations.
