Job summary

Strata Innovative Solutions Inc. designs and implements automation solutions for oil and gas clients, leading projects from design through FAT/SAT and commissioning.

The role drives project scope, cost, schedule, and resource coordination across engineering and field teams. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in electrical or mechanical engineering and at least four years’ experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and panel design in upstream/midstream settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements automation solutions to meet customer requirements and standards.
• Provides project lifecycle leadership for control and automation projects in oil and gas.
• Aids procurement by creating BOMs, RFQs, reviewing quotes, and approving invoices.
• Coordinates field work with project manager and field support team.
• Plans FAT/SAT and commissioning activities with customers.
