Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience programming PLCs, robots, and operator interfaces preferred.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python, C++, C#, VB is a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine processes with support from mechanical engineering.
• Assist with selection of electrical components for machines.
• Create machine control programs using Allen Bradley Studio 5000 software.
• Design HMIs for machine control using Allen Bradley FTView Studio ME software.
• Review safety circuit design and complete machine safety programming.
• Provide design improvement suggestions during all machine design phases.
• Integrate third party equipment into machine functions.
• Debug and prepare the machine for factory acceptance testing.
• Review operating manuals prepared by the technical writer.
• Travel to customer facilities for machine integration and testing.
• Communicate positively and professionally with customers.
