Flex-N-Gate LLC. is seeking an Automation Program Manager to drive automation projects across the Warren facility. The role focuses on implementing equipment, coordinating with maintenance, and delivering on-time program milestones that improve efficiency.

Responsibilities include supplier quotations, equipment installation, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve cost-effective solutions. The candidate should have mechanical or electrical engineering background and automotive industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years’ related automotive/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Demonstrated initiative, responsibility and leadership.
• Strong cost control and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate automation program activities with maintenance and plant staff.
• Lead equipment installation and commissioning at the plant.
• Maintain project schedules with timing requirements from suppliers.
• Define project objectives with management and evaluate design and setup.
• Prepare cost estimates to determine project specifications.
• Develop and implement training for new equipment and automation cells.
• Identify equipment sources and establish evaluation criteria with cross-functional input.
• Conduct capability tests and time studies to confirm product performance.
• Carry out continuous improvement studies through automation and cost-benefit analyses.
• Ensure equipment meets mechanical and electrical standards and procurement needs.
