Job summary

The role targets a current engineering student seeking hands-on experience in a high-tech PCB manufacturing environment. You will collaborate across the organization, design and monitor process improvements, and prepare work instructions and training materials.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Project management and structured problem solving with data-based decisions.
• Eagerness to learn quickly.
• Capability for designing and analyzing experiments using statistical tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong writing and presentation.
• Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to implement manufacturing process improvements and automation.
• Collaborate with mentors to identify methods for automating processes.
• Use a structured engineering approach to deploy best practices for process control and yield improvement.
• Create and update work instructions, training guides and certification tests.
• Provide regular updates to program coordinator and corporate leads.
• Benchmark current practices against external standards and propose improvements.
• Lead capital project efforts to address capacity and technology gaps.
• Present updates to local leadership and participate in corporate trade shows.
• Participate in internal design reviews to ensure compatibility with customer needs.
• Limited travel for workshops and trade shows.
