Job summary
Qnity's Global Automation Team seeks an experienced Automation Process Equipment Engineer to lead commissioning and startup of a new manufacturing facility. You will coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and external suppliers to ensure a safe, timely transition into commercial production.
The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing automation, hands-on experience with PLCs, robotics, machine vision, AMRs, and system integration, plus proven leadership in startup
Qualifications
- 5+ years in manufacturing, automation, process equipment, or capital projects.
- Experience commissioning and starting up manufacturing equipment and automated systems.
- Experience supporting major capital projects, facility expansions, or production transfers.
Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning and startup activities for the B17 Finishing Expansion.
- Develop commissioning, startup, turnover, and readiness plans for new equipment.
- Coordinate startup across Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and suppliers.
- Drive issue resolution and ensure safe transition to production.
