Job summary

Modine seeks an Intern/Project Coordinator – Tooling & Automation Specialist to develop and maintain automated workflows in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. You’ll design data pipelines, dashboards, and tools to support project and portfolio management, with a focus on automation (90%) and lightweight coordination (10%).

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in project coordination, PMO operations, or tooling/automation roles.
• Ability to map processes into automated workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using SharePoint/Lists, Excel, and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Develop and manage data pipelines: extraction, transformation, validation, and refresh.
• Create and support dashboards and reports with accurate data presentation.
• Configure project/tools like SharePoint, Planner, Jira, or Smartsheet according to team usage.
• Build self‑service tools, templates, and forms for intake, approvals, reporting, and portfolio mgmt.
• Develop lightweight scripts (VBA or Python) to streamline data tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process gaps and implement tech solutions.
• Document tools and workflows, including user guides and troubleshooting.
• Opportunity to work on selecting and implementing a new PPM platform.
• Assist with maintaining project documentation: status updates, RAID logs, schedules.
• Support meetings, follow‑ups, and governance processes.
