Job summary

Roger Wood Foods, A Sigma Company, is seeking a Process Engineer to support the design, programming, modification, scheduling, and implementation of electrical and automated systems across our production facility.

The role focuses on maintaining and improving PLC-based systems supporting processing equipment, productivity reporting, yield analysis, and operational efficiency, working closely with maintenance and leadership to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5 years of combined relevant training and experience.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Experience with PLC programming, system components, and electrical schematics.
• Ability to develop, troubleshoot, test, and implement automated systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PLC programming for production productivity data and equipment efficiency.
• Maintain PLC systems, components, documentation, and schematics.
• Develop reporting tools for real-time production information.
• Test new programming and equipment prior to implementation to avoid disruption.
• Coordinate design, construction, modification, scheduling and implementation of electrical and automated processing systems.
