We are seeking qualified applicants for the role of Automation Platform Technician supporting the operation of an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) system in Hutchins, TX. This position will be part of a dynamic work team reporting to the Automation & Robotics Center of Excellence team. The role involves working with a team servicing all geographic regions across the country, primarily based in Hutchins, TX. This is a non-exempt salaried position.

This role requires regional travel within the United States, approximately 15-25% of the time.

What You Will Do

1. Complete regularly scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PMs) on time and as per AGV Platform requirements.
2. Provide feedback and training to Operator Technicians as needed.
3. Use tools and data to predict maintenance needs.
4. Ensure Asset Strategies are executed and provide feedback for improvements.
5. Track issues and repairs, utilizing escalation processes via SAP or similar tools.
6. Collaborate with internal resources and engage additional platform team members as needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience with basic PLC knowledge and troubleshooting.
• 2-year degree or higher in Electronic or Mechanical Technology, or related maintenance/troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles, including motors, drivers, belts, and bearings.
• Ability to work independently and seek resources when needed.
• Willingness to learn skills necessary to maintain and operate AGVs and automation equipment.
• Ability to travel domestically 15-25%.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with maintenance or operation of Automated Guided Vehicles.
• Self-directed, able to multitask and make independent decisions.
• Experience providing technical services across multiple locations.
• Knowledge of electrical safe work practices (NFPA 70-E).
