Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior leader to own and drive enterprise automation platform strategy across SS&C Blue Prism, SAP BTP Automation, and Microsoft Power Automate. You will govern lifecycle, standards, and guardrails while ensuring operational health and security compliance.

You will lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage budgets with MSPs and vendors to maximize automation value and outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Engineering, or related field.
8–10+ years in automation, platform management, IT operations, service management, or related technology functions.
Experience leading enterprise automation, platform support, or service delivery functions in complex environments.
Strong understanding of ITIL Service Management disciplines; ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
Experience with enterprise automation platforms including SS&C Blue Prism, SAP BTP Automation, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar technologies.
Experience managing managed service providers and outsourced support teams.
Strong knowledge of incident, problem, change, release, and service level management processes.
Experience developing platform roadmaps, operational dashboards, service metrics, and executive reporting.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to balance operational excellence, innovation, risk management, governance, and financial stewardship.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Own strategy, roadmap, governance, and lifecycle management for automation platforms (SS&C Blue Prism, SAP BTP Automation, Power Automate).
Serve as enterprise owner for RPA, workflow automation, and low-code automation capabilities.
Establish platform standards, governance models, development practices, and operational guardrails.
Drive adoption and value realization across business functions and product teams.
Own platform availability, reliability, performance, security, and operational health.
Establish service metrics, operational reporting, performance dashboards, and automation value tracking.
Ensure operational readiness, supportability, and sustainment of new automation capabilities entering production.
Champion ITIL practices including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Knowledge, and Service Level Management.
Own the operational support model with internal support teams, MSPs, and strategic suppliers.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, audit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
Partner with Architecture, Security, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, and Product Teams.
Manage platform budgets, licensing, contracts, and vendor relationships.
Serve as primary platform liaison for enterprise automation stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement and operational maturity across the automation platform portfolio.
