Job summary
Fresenius Kabi is seeking a senior automation engineer to lead the design, development, implementation and support of automation, electrical control systems, equipment and machinery across site utilities, production equipment and facilities.
You will act as a technical leader for Engineering, guiding Maintenance and Validation to meet regulatory and company policy requirements and to improve plant efficiency and capacity through modernization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience designing and validating pharmaceutical automation systems.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (cGMP, data integrity).
- Ability to lead capital projects from funding to validation and start-up.
Responsibilities
- Lead research, development, design, testing, and improvement of manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and support automated packaging, PLCs, HMIs and industrial IT infrastructure.
- Maintain validated state of equipment and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Drive improvements for efficiency, safety and obsolescence avoidance.
- Lead capital improvement projects including documentation and risk assessments.
- Mentor engineering teams and coordinate with management to meet schedules and budgets.
