Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an Intern - Automation, Operations Improvement to join our research and development factory in Boise. You will work on projects that optimize our highly automated fabrication environment and improve efficiency for both teams and processes.

Working with large data sets, you will help translate data into practical automation solutions, assist with testing, and document technical specifications and deployment plans to support real-world improvements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of core database management methods in relational and NoSQL stores.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, and VBA.
• Ability to plan, drive, and complete projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Excel/Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and assemble project requirements.
• Review options with customers to design optimal solutions.
• Identify and document defects and improvements.
• Participate in integration and user acceptance testing.
