Job summary

Peace Coffee is seeking an Automation/Packaging Operator to efficiently package roasted coffee and operate packaging equipment in a GMP-compliant environment. The role includes loading, calibrating machines, and maintaining accurate ERP entries while supporting a safe, clean production area.

The position requires a forklift certification, ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse, and a commitment to Peace Coffee’s mission and quality standards. This is a full-time on-site role in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
• Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced production line work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form professional relationships with a variety of people.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner.
• Ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
• Basic math and computer skills are required. Experience with Excel and GSuite is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated, semi-automated, and manual machinery in the production process, including grinding, filling, sealing, boxing, and palletizing coffee.
• Maintain labeling, coding, and packaging accuracy; ensure clean and safe packaging areas.
• Calibrate equipment and report malfunctions; assist with setup, changeover, troubleshooting, and adjustments.
• Enter data into the ERP system and coordinate with Warehouse Specialist for transfers.
• Perform quality checks on finished products and document results.
• Follow GMP and safety procedures, and maintain sanitation standards.
