Job summary
ADM is seeking an Automation Software Lead in Decatur, IL to drive modernization of industrial control systems. You will lead software design, configuration, and integration for DeltaV and PlantPAx, ensuring scalable, compliant solutions across projects and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Computer Engineering or related field; experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Lead software design governance for automation projects.
- Oversee software engineering tasks, including configuration and integration.
- Plan upgrades for legacy control systems to improve performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware and control engineers for seamless software/hardware integration.
- Develop and maintain software specifications, narratives, and documentation.
- Lead testing, FAT/SAT activities and deliverables for software components.
- Ensure designs comply with ISA, IEC, NFPA and cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443).
- Coordinate with vendors for software tools, licenses and services.
