King City Gardens seeks an Automation Maintenance Technician in Ohio to inspect, maintain, and repair automated machinery and production systems. Qualifications

  • Vocational/technical training or an associate's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
  • At least 2 years in industrial/manufacturing environment with hands-on automation experience.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance and automation troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect automated machinery, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure functionality.
  • Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Prioritize and schedule maintenance around production activities.
  • Ensure quality standards are met.
  • Assist in installation and maintenance of automated systems per specifications.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to troubleshoot mechanical issues.

JobSummary:

The Automation Maintenance Technicianis responsible forinspecting,maintaining, and repairing automated machinery, electrical/mechanical equipment, and production systems to ensureoptimalperformanceandadherencetoqualityandsafetystandards.Thisrolesupportscontinuousproduction by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with senior technicians and engineers to enhance equipment reliability.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Inspectautomatedmachinery,equipment,andsystemstoidentifyissuesandensurefunctionality.
  • Calibrate,troubleshoot,andperformmaintenanceonvarioustypesofelectricaland mechanical equipment.
  • Abilitytoprioritizeandself-schedulemaintenanceworkaroundproductionactivities.
  • Ensurequalitystandardsarealwaysmet.
  • Assistintheassembly,installation,andmaintenanceofautomatedsystemsaccordingtospecifications.
  • Collaboratewithseniortechniciansandengineerstotroubleshootandresolvemechanicalissues.
  • Conductroutinemaintenanceandqualitychecksonautomatedsystemstoupholdstandards.
  • Assistinthe developmentandimplementation ofpreventativemaintenanceprocedures.
  • Assistin planning and scheduling repairs and maintenancetasks.
  • Maintainaccurateinventoryrecordsforequipmentandsupplies.
  • AdheretoGMP(currentGoodManufacturingPractices),safetystandardsandpoliciestomaintaina safe working environment.
RequiredSkills/Abilities:
  • Strongknowledgeofautomationsystems,includingprocesscontrol,instrumentation,and servo-driven systems with ladder logic.
  • Proficiencyincalibrating,troubleshooting,andmaintainingelectricalandmechanicalequipment.
  • Abilitytoprioritizeandschedulemaintenancetaskseffectivelyaroundproductionactivities.
  • Strongmechanicalaptitudewithproficiencyinusinghandandpowertoolsfor maintenance and repairs.
  • Excellentproblem-solvingabilitieswithkeenattentiontodetail,especiallyinensuring quality standards.
  • Effectivewrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsforreportingissuesandcollaborating with team members.
  • Abilitytoworkindependentlyand collaborativelyinateamenvironment.

  • Willingnesstocontinuouslylearnandadapttonewtechnologiesandprocessesin automation and mechanical systems.
Experience:
  • Vocational/Tradetrainingoranassociate's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
  • Aminimumof2yearsofexperienceinanindustrialormanufacturingenvironment,with hands-on experience in automation and mechanical systemsrequired.
  • Experiencewithpreventativemaintenanceprogramsandautomationtroubleshootingpreferred.
Work Schedule (Non-Exempt):

Thispositionisscheduledonafull-timebasis.Specificshifttimesandworkdaysaredeterminedbythe operation and may vary by location. Business needs may require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as occasional overtime. Scheduled start and end times, assigned shifts, andworkdays are subject to change based on staffing and operational requirements. Wheneverfeasible, advance notice of schedule changes will be provided.

  • Abilityto lift andcarry heavy objectsup to 75pounds.

  • Abilitytoworkinawarehouseenvironmentwithvariabletemperaturesandhumiditylevels.
  • Willingnesstoworkflexiblehoursandoccasionalovertimeasneeded,includingweekends, public holidays, and evenings.
  • Mustbeabletostand,walk,bendover,andpickupitemsandhaveconstantmovement for the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to lift, push, kneel, and pick up items, both small andlarge.
  • General cleaning of locker rooms, bathrooms and high traffic areas.
  • Capabilitytooperateheavymachinerysuchaspalletjacksandforkliftssafelyandefficiently.
Vehicle & Travel Requirements:
  • This position will require intermediate travel between Wilmington, Ohio and Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and own vehicle required
  • Reliable transportation and insurance coverage
