Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 4-6 years of automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Proven track record in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and innovation management.

Responsibilities

• Propose, analyze, and identify optimal processes for integration of machinery and lean material strategies for BIW.
• Direct the design, development, and implementation of machinery and material handling equipment solutions.
• Optimize manufacturing processes and material flow by collaborating with suppliers and leading small teams.
• Develop and lead automation strategies to improve material flow and roadmap future solutions.
• Collaborate with Global Health and Safety, Manufacturing Assembly Teams, Shop Directors, and leads to identify improvements.
• Work with plant partners and safety teams to develop material optimization initiatives from drawing board to shop floor.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for automation projects.
• Collaborate with product engineering, purchasing, and IT to ensure seamless integration of new tech.
• Stay updated on industry trends to provide strategic recommendations.
• Identify emerging manufacturing technologies and best practices to drive performance.
• Develop and deliver training programs for manufacturing teams on new technologies.
