Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a client in Arden Hills, MN. This is a 12-month contract position with pay range $30-40/hour, negotiable based on experience and location.

You will work with engineers on set-up and calibration, perform rework and quality testing, and help ensure compliance with QSR and ISO standards while supporting process improvements and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with AA degree or equivalent.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up and calibration tasks with engineers.
• Conduct quality testing and assist in process validation.
• Develop methods to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Ensure safety rules, QSR and ISO standards are followed.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers on process improvement.
• Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; install/validate processes.
• Evaluate operating data and update procedures as needed.
• Certify associates in production processes.

Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a client located in Arden Hills, MN. This is a 12-month contract Position. Ideally looking for a candidate with experience in the Medical Device manufacturing Industry

Pay Range: $30 - $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Your Responsibilities will include:

Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Your responsibilities will include:

Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations. This includes QSR and ISO Standards.

Maintains compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

Work with other technicians and engineers on process improvement. Some experience of project execution.

Identifies and implements corrective actions for manufacturing related issues.

Performs equipment setup and corrective, preventive and calibration maintenance as necessary.

Installs and validates equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedure.

Evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. May develop or revise documents and procedures.

Certifies manufacturing associates in the production processes.

Evaluates and orders necessary equipment, tools and fixtures.

Required qualifications:

3 years with AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience

Preferred qualifications:

2- 4 years of relevant experience preferred
