Lake City Plating LLC is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to support the Automation Manager. Responsibilities include PLC troubleshooting, programming modifications, and maintaining control systems for automated manufacturing equipment.

The role requires two+ years in the field, a relevant trade background, and a valid driver’s license. Local travel between sites is expected; some remote work potential after training may be possible.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of basic PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Aufgaben

• Support Automation Manager with basic PLC troubleshooting and programming modifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, motor controls, and electrical devices.
• Assist with automation projects, equipment startups, commissioning activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and update PLC programs, electrical schematics, and automation documentation as directed.
• Support automated systems used to monitor production throughput, equipment uptime, and process performance.
• Suggest improvements for quality, safety and efficiency.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Summary

This part time position's responsibilities are dedicated to supporting the Automation Manager through the troubleshooting, maintenance, modification, and continuous improvement of PLC-controlled equipment, control systems, and automation projects.

Automation and PLC Support

• Support the Automation Manager to perform basic PLC troubleshooting, programming modifications, and improvement of automated manufacturing equipment and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, motor controls, and associated electrical devices.
• Assist with automation projects, equipment startups, commissioning activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and update PLC programs, electrical schematics, and automation documentation as directed.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the Maintenance Technician is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Maintenance Technician to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The Maintenance Technician is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. At times lifting and moving items over 50 pounds is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday with flexibility to schedule your own hours that aligns to the Automation Manager's needs.

This position can have potential for future remote work, once fully trained and meeting leaderships expectations.

• 1 st Shift is expected
