Job summary
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Orion Plant in Auburn Hills, MI. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated production equipment, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and computer-controlled systems, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting production teams to ensure safe, reliable operation.
You will read schematics, repair controls, install equipment, participate in startup, commissioning, and validation, and follow safety
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in manufacturing maintenance.
- Electrical and mechanical systems experience.
- Pneumatic/hydraulic experience and problem solving.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience in automotive production and high-volume manufacturing.
- Rockwell PLC logic proficiency and diagnostic tools.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automated manufacturing systems.
- Read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Perform preventive maintenance per schedules and standards.
- Support production teams and startup/commissioning activities.
- Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout.
