Orionplacement is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance technician for a full-time, on-site role in Albion, Michigan. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, and work with a collaborative production team to keep equipment running smoothly.

Applicants should have 2+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, with strong troubleshooting skills and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands‑on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree or maintenance certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Minimize equipment downtime through timely diagnostics and repairs.
• Partner with production teams to identify equipment issues and improve reliability.
• Document maintenance activities and update assigned work orders.
• Assist with installation and setup of new manufacturing equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance.
