Job summary

Exol is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician II to join our Site Maintenance team in Perris, California. You will inspect, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated storage, robotic vehicles, lifts, adapters, and related electromechanical systems to support safe and continuous operations.

The role requires following safety protocols, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting activities in the CMMS.

Qualifications

Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
Experience with programmable logic controllers and troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
Ability to document maintenance activities clearly in a CMMS.

Responsibilities

Follow OSHA, Exol, and customer safety requirements including lockout/tagout and fall-protection protocols.
Inspect automated storage and retrieval equipment, robotic vehicles, lifts, adapters, and related systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, sensor, and PLC faults using schematics and test equipment.
Adjust, calibrate, repair, replace, or modify system components to keep operations running.
Operate automated systems, monitor material flow, and perform recovery after anomalies.
Complete preventive and corrective maintenance while logging labor, repairs, actions, and parts.
Communicate issues and maintenance status to team members.
