Job summary
Silver King Beverage Co. seeks a Maintenance Automation Technician for a can filling manufacturing facility to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automated systems.
You will work with maintenance, production, and engineering to minimize downtime and maximize output. Responsibilities include PLC/HMI programming, updating electrical drawings, and developing improvements to enhance capacity, efficiency and quality while ensuring food safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Solid experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and robotic systems.
- Proficient in reading electrical drawings and P&IDs.
- Experience in beverage/manufacturing environments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Read electrical drawings, P&IDs, and ladder diagrams.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and control components.
- Troubleshoot process issues in existing PLC code.
- Perform routine diagnostic checks on automation equipment.
- Update P&IDs and electrical drawings as needed.
- Identify and implement improvements to increase capacity, efficiency and quality.
- Program PLCs and HMIs for updates and improvements to manufacturing lines.
- Monitor, measure, and report automation system performance.
- Assist in design of new automation systems and both mechanical and electrical components.
