Job summary

Ryder is hiring an Automation Maintenance Technician to perform daily repairs and preventive maintenance on automated packaging lines in a warehouse setting. You will report to the maintenance supervisor and support facility goals.

The role emphasizes hands-on use of basic tools and adherence to GMP, with on-the-job training and comprehensive benefits. Applicants with 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent certification are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 5+ years experience or relevant certificate with 3+ years or associate degree with 1+ year experience.
• Ability to use basic power tools and proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• Maintenance experience with automated packaging lines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure PM entries into software are complete and accurate.
• Utilize the CMMS to keep the department organized and communicate with plant and corporate management.
• Maintain and inventory spare parts consistent with procedures.
• Develop and improve maintenance policies, procedures and SOPs for the facility.
• Keep a clean, organized maintenance area and facility tour ready.
• Ensure GMP compliance.
