Job summary

Silgan Dispensing is seeking an Automation Technician to support operations automation PM, cell setup, and basic maintenance in a fast-paced injection molding environment. The role emphasizes learning grinders, loaders, conveyors, robotics, cameras, lining and assembly machines, and other automation equipment, while maintaining safety and GMP standards.

You will follow scheduled maintenance, document PM activities, assist with equipment changeovers, and perform basic troubleshooting and repairs.

Qualifications

• Vocational school certificate or equivalent experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems in automated equipment.
• Competency using hand tools.
• Competency using fabrication machinery.

Responsibilities

• Support operations automation PM system and scheduled maintenance.
• Learn setup and changeover of robotics and automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems in automated equipment.
• Maintain GMP and MSDS compliance.
