URBN is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated systems, conveyors, and facility equipment at our Kansas City location. You will be the primary responder to equipment issues and support preventive maintenance plus reliability initiatives.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read schematics, and collaboration with vendors and team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with automation, conveyors, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and perform basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment (up to 480V).
• Maintain motors, VFDs, sensors, gearboxes, bearings, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot automation systems (conveyors, sortation, ASRS, packaging equipment).
• Resolve jams, sensor faults, and minor electrical or pneumatic failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system calibrations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics; perform basic PLC/HMI diagnostics.
• Document work orders and maintenance activities in CMMS.
• Identify equipment issues and support continuous improvement and RCA efforts.
• Collaborate with team members, vendors, and support staff; assist junior technicians.
