Job summary

ALO is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to perform audits, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of automated material handling components in the Fulfillment Center. You will work with minimal guidance, support product flow, and help achieve operational goals.

The role requires experience with 3‑phase systems, strong electrical/PLC knowledge, and the ability to operate at heights. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience, capable math and English literacy, and flexibility

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience in mechanical troubleshooting, technical troubleshooting, maintenance and/or installation.
• Adept at analyzing and resolving mechanical and technical issues.
• Excellent hand and eye coordination; ability to read, recognize, write, and follow directives in English.
• Command of basic math to ensure accurate inventory.
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends; safety procedures known (lock-out/tag-out).
• Frequent bending, lifting, walking, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods.
• Experience with 3-phase systems up to 480VAC; strong electrical background and PLC knowledge.
• Prior experience with conveyors and/or sortation; strong mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling system components.
• Perform maintenance within the Fulfillment Center with minimal guidance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using drawings and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain safety procedures and complete work orders per procedures.
• Work at heights up to 40 ft and assist with inventory of tools.
