Your role

The Maintenance Lead directs the technicians supportingautomated production equipment. The role owns safe corrective response duringproduction, preventive maintenance execution, supplier escalation and theavailability and accuracy of spare parts in Fractall. The role coordinatesclosely with the Automated Line Lead and Automation Manager.

Will require extensive overtime at the beginning of implementation, as this is an automation start-up.

Key responsibilities: Team leadership and corrective maintenance

• Train, coach and assign maintenance technicians;verify competence for electrical, mechanical and controls tasks and safe workpractices.
• Triage breakdowns during production, coordinatediagnosis and repair, communicate restoration estimates and confirm equipmentreadiness before release.
• Escalate complex defects to equipmentmanufacturers or supplier hotlines; open, track and close support tickets withevidence and follow-up.

Preventive maintenance and reliability

• Build and schedule preventive maintenance withProduction, execute to documented standards and record completion, findings andfollow-up work.
• Review recurring failures and downtime with theAutomation Manager and Continuous Improvement team; drive root-cause correctiveactions.
• Ensure lockout/tagout, guarding, contractorcontrol and site food safety rules during all interventions.

Spare parts and records

• Maintain spare-parts master data, stock levels,movements and work-order records in Fractall.
• Set critical spares and reorder points usingequipment risk, lead times and consumption; coordinate replenishment andperiodic counts.
• Report equipment availability, maintenancebacklog, preventive completion and critical stock risks to site leadership.

Matrix relationship with Group Innovation

In addition to the site reporting line, maintain a matrixrelationship with the Group Innovation team at headquarters to supportdeployment and consistent execution of the Group automation strategy.

• Share recurring faults, equipment availability,preventive-maintenance findings and critical spare-parts risks with GroupInnovation, in coordination with the Automation Manager.
• Propose reliability and maintainabilityimprovements, contribute technical lessons learned to common standards, andsupport deployment of Group-approved changes at the site.
• Escalate major technical issues, supplier-support gaps and systemic failures requiring Group intervention; maintain anaction log and report progress through resolution.
