Your role as an Automation Maintenance Supervisor

Key responsibilities:

NewCold is growing rapidly, and we have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor at our Atlanta warehouse. You will effectively supervise the maintenance and sanitation team on site, providing service in line with technical requirements. Your responsibilities include undertaking preventative maintenance and repairs on all relevant equipment, ensuring the effective running of the warehouse using Fiix, our CMMS software. You will direct and lead the maintenance team’s daily functions, conduct training and development opportunities, and maintain a professional culture aligned with our health & safety standards.

What you will be doing:

• Ensure all equipment is used and maintained according to supplier guidelines, including conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, fire protection, freeze doors, oxygen reduction, and other installations.
• Create and plan preventative maintenance tasks or repairs to be carried out safely and timely, minimizing operational disruption.
• Work within budget guidelines and achieve KPIs.
• Follow maintenance plans efficiently to ensure minimal operational impact while meeting supplier standards.
• Lead the sanitation team to maintain site cleanliness and appearance.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and promptly.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers and contractors to ensure proper training of maintenance technicians.
• Complete internal reports and communicate effectively with the site manager.
• Develop an understanding of all equipment and contracts on site, including cooling systems, oxygen reduction, and dock doors.
• Commit to ongoing self and team development through internal and external resources.
• Meet the physical demands of the maintenance and operator roles.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
