Job summary

Responsibilities include creating automation equipment layouts, detailing models, sizing components, and supporting assembly and troubleshooting. Candidate with a mechanical engineering background and SolidWorks proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; non-degree candidates with relevant experience welcome.
Experience as Machine Designer in material handling, assembly, or automation.
Proficiency in SolidWorks; familiarity with Inventor, CREO, Pro-E, AutoCAD is a plus.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and servos is advantageous.
Strong technical aptitude, teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail required.
Project Engineering or structural design experience is a plus.
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (Green Card) required.

Responsibilities

Create, design, and layout custom automation equipment based on engineering principles and expertise.
Conceptualize machine designs and select appropriate materials.
Develop detailed models and drawings using SolidWorks software.
Size mechanical components such as pumps, gears, pulleys, sheet metal, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, and piping.
Provide support for machine assembly and troubleshooting.
