Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Machine Design Engineer-Automation to lead the creation of automated test systems for new product development. You will own design, build, integration, and deployment while coordinating with global test labs and cross-functional teams.

The role combines mechanical and electrical skills to design CAD models, develop electrical schematics, and implement PLC/HMI-based controls. You will mentor others and contribute to best practices within the TAG group.

Qualifications

• Experience creating automated test systems for new product development.
• Proficient with CAD tools to design and maintain mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and PLC/HMI interactions for test platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test systems covering design, build, integration and deployment.
• Integrate hardware, sensors, safety, and motion devices across global test labs.
• Collaborate with NPD, Reliability, Quality, and Lab teams to define requirements.
