Job summary

Alpha Integration, Inc. in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Machine Assembly Technician to fabricate and assemble components for designed projects, following engineering drawings and quality standards to produce reliable machines.

In this role you will lead assembly activities, collaborate with the Assembly Manager and engineering, and travel for machine installation and on-site support, while maintaining a neat work area and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Two years of Mechanical Assembly experience preferred.
• Two years of Machine Maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Machine assembly and project lead.
• Use skills to assemble fixtures and machines with care and precision using supplied engineering documents.
• Modify any machine parts necessary to complete a proper fit and update drawings to reflect actual build.
• Keep Assembly Manager informed of any issues/delays that may impact project schedule.
• Maintain all prints/redline documents and convey to engineering departments during and after the machine build is completed.
• Travel for machine installation and on-site support of customer projects as required.
