Job summary
RTX, Pratt & Whitney in Asheville, NC, is seeking an Automation Leader to define the vision and roadmaps for next‑generation factory automation. You will oversee end‑to‑end strategy, deploy OT networks, and align multi‑million dollar CapEx with enterprise goals to advance Industry 4.0 in a premier Lighthouse site.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of related experience with a technical degree; or 8+ years with an advanced degree.
- Proven leadership of engineering or technical teams in industrial automation.
- Hands-on PLC/SCADA, hardware, firmware and electronics development experience.
Responsibilities
- Define automation vision, roadmap, and deployment strategy for Asheville site.
- Lead automation engineers to implement and sustain factory automation.
- Stand up and manage the OT network for Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Drive ROI analysis, CapEx budgeting, and progress reporting to executives.
- Standardize automation equipment, layouts, tooling, and robot simulations.
- Develop training, documentation, and team capability growth.
