Jabil is seeking a Regional Automation Lead for Manufacturing Assembly and Test to guide sites across the US region from our Salisbury, NC location. You will drive automation roadmaps, implement scalable assembly and test strategies, and lead ROI-driven projects to improve FPY, throughput and cost efficiency.

This leadership role requires 8+ years in manufacturing automation, 5+ years in leadership, and strong collaboration with controls, IT, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles and leadership.
• Significant experience in manufacturing automation across assembly and test processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the automation roadmap for manufacturing assembly and test processes.
• Develop and deploy manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic strategies focusing on scalability and cost effectiveness.
• Lead ROI-driven automation projects, including feasibility studies and business cases.
• Design and implement automated assembly lines including screw driving, robotics, and vision-guided inspection.
• Drive line balancing to optimize cycle time, throughput, and labor efficiency.
• Collaborate with controls/IT on architectures and data integration; manage cross-functional teams.

This role will sit at our Salisbury, NC site and travel up to 50% domestically to support assembly initiatives across multiple facilities.
