Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to lead various automation initiatives pertaining to strategic accounts in a BU ensuring better client engagement

Playwright/Selenium

• 6+ years of experience in automation testing covering UI, API, and backend validation.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing with a focus on reliability and scalability
• Build UI automation using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) following best practices such as Page Object Model (POM) and reusable test utilities
• Create automated test suites for functional, integration, and regression testing with consistent execution
• Perform REST API automation, including positive/negative scenarios, schema validation, and data-driven testing
• Conduct backend data validation using SQL to verify data accuracy and end-to-end workflows
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git-based workflows) to enable fast feedback and quality gates
• Analyze test failures, debug issues, identify root causes, and collaborate closely with development teams
• Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and dashboards for coverage, defects, and automation health
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure test readiness for sprint releases

Mandatory Skills: Test Automation.Experience: 5-8 Years.The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
